Deuteronomy 31:6
6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”
Fear is what you pass on the way to success. I always say that most people fail but they can fail their way to success. In other words, it is impossible to ever find out what God has for your life without making a few mistakes along the way.
Don’t be so addicted to your own perfection that you live a small life with no passion for much of anything because you’ve chosen to play it safe. You don’t have to be flawless to enjoy life – you can learn, grow and mature from each mistake.
Safe usually means sameness, but God has created us for diversity and growth. He wants us to face new challenges, try new things, experiments, and be creative.
The next time you are tempted to shrink back in fear, ask God to give you the courage to keep moving forward regardless of the fear.
